Investing Glossary: "Q" Terms

Qualified Plan

A retirement plan which meets requirements of the Internal Revenue Code, and thus qualifies for certain tax benefits. These requirements are often lengthy and specific and can vary according to whether the plan is initiated by a corporation or an individual.
