Joint Account |
A credit arrangement for two or more people, enabling all to use an account and assume liability to repay. |

Joint And Survivor |
An election under an anuity which allows a survivor to continue to receive payments, usually reduced, after the death of the annuitant. Usually used to provide a surviving spouse with income. |

Joint Tenancy |
Holding property with another in such a way that there are created equal rights to the use and enjoyment of the property. See also: Joint Tenancy with Rights of Survirorship; Contrast: Tenants in Common |

Joint Tenancy with Rights of Survivorship |
A form of coownership which gives each tenant an undivided interest in : the property. Upon the death of a co-tenant the survivor or survivors succeed to the interests of the deceased without the property passing through probate. |

Junk Bond |
A bond rated BB or lower or unrated. Such bonds are speculative investments. |
